  • Why did the Gulf Coast CMLS transition from Legacy Catylist platform to Moody's Catylist platform?​

    • Our partnership with Catylist over the last 10 years has been a prosperous and beneficial for our members.  In 2021, the Catylist, Inc. was purchased by Moody’s Analytics who reviewed the Legacy CMLS platform and determined that it did not meet the Cyber Security requirements placed on Moody's, as a major financial corporation, by the U.S. Government.  As a result, Moody's created a new platform with additional tools, benefits, higher functionality, and resources that will enhance our member's experience and business.  With the approval of the this transition, Gulf Coast Governing Committee, which is made up of members from all six participating association partners, set the date for October 21, 2024, making the Gulf Coast CMLS the last CMLS to move to the new platform.  This was intentionally done to ensure that any bugs in the transition process were solved or identified by earlier transitions at other CMLSs prior to ours. ​

  • Will there be training available?

    • Yes, Moody's is providing weekly training on the new platform on Thursday at 1:00 pm Eastern Time, or 12:00 pm Local Time.

  • Is there still be a Basic Free Membership level with the new system?

    • Yes

  • Is there a price increase for the Full Paid Membership level with the new system?

    • No

  • Will my Username remain the same on the new system?

    • No, in the new Catylist platform, your Username will be your email address that is on file with the Gulf Coast CMLS.  This username cannot be changed or customized like in the Legacy platform.  The "locked-in" username helps Moody's identify your account.  ​​

  • Are there any benefits or features to the new Catylist platform, that I did not get with the Legacy Catylist platform?

    • Yes, the new Moody's platform will provide all Members pre-populated parcel numbers and property addresses.  Additionally, Pro Members will get these along with an increased number of comparables and a more industry recognized and larger listing syndication platform.

  • ​​​Does the new Moody's Catylist platform provide an IDX feed?

    • Yes, the new platform will support an IDX feed from SiteLink.​  For more information on how to get an IDX feed, contact the Gulf Coast CMLS staff.
